NNI’s new TENANT ADVOCATE PROGRAM

TAPS community resources and works with tenants and tenant councils at the properties we manage to support residents with programs that can improve their lives and their neighborhoods.  

Because we are affordable housing builders and property managers, not a human services agency, we have teamed up with an established local agency with a track record of providing a range of programs that could benefit our tenants. A TAPS coordinator, under contract with Family Centers, now works full time at and in close consultation with NNI’s Property Management Offices.  

Helping tenants TAP into their unique needs and dreams 
Working one-on-one and with groups to connect residents with programs that target self-sufficiency and life skills goals such as:

–  employment and job advancement
– eviction prevention
–  health care screening
–  credit repair and budgeting
–  home ownership
–  after-school programs
–  aging in place
–  neighborhood improvement

1:30 PM Podiatrist visit

1:30 PM free blood pressure & diabetes screening
with Nurse Bonnie of the Stamford Health Dept.
